To count the saved cards (with a MASTER...)
01. Swipe the MASTER(*) over the reader 3 times. It will beep a number of times; the
beeps have the following meanings:
• 3 beeps = 1 hundred (e.g.: 2 sets of 3 beeps = 200 cards).
• 2 beeps = 1 ten (e.g.: 3 sets of 2 beeps = 30 cards).
• 1 beep = 1 unit (e.g.: 5 sets of 1 beep = 5 cards).
• 10 sets of single beeps = zero.
The beeps are emitted in the following order: hundreds, tens, units.
(*) – You must use MASTER-1, MASTER-2 of the SINGLE-MASTER, depending on
the output (1, 2, or both) to which the card in question is mapped. Using the SINGLE-
MASTER counts all cards mapped to both outputs.
7.B.10 Professional
To limit a card (with a MASTER...) to a set number
of uses
Each card has a counter which decrements automatically every time the combination
is used; the card is deactivated when the counter reaches zero. The factory setting is
unlimited activations. This procedure allows you to set a limit to the number of times
a card can be used. The maximum value is 999; higher values remove any limit to the
number of times the card can be used.
01. Swipe the MASTER(*) over the reader 4 times. After 2 seconds, the reader beeps
3 times and enables the hundreds.
02. Now swipe the card in question one time for each hundred times you want the
card to be used (10 swipes = unlimited use).
03. After 2 seconds, the reader beeps 2 times and enables the tens.
04. Now swipe the card in question one time for each ten times you want the card
to be used.
