10.4. Main menu

The main menu contains the following submenus:

Advanced settings
Inverter data
To access the various menus and submenus, the desired option must be highlighted over a black background using
the and keys and press the
INFO
The menu Advanced settings is password restricted. Access to this menu is only allowed to installers (qualified
personnel). The installer password is 3725.

10.5. Configuring the unit for the first time

The first time that the inverter is powered from the PV array, a series of screens are displayed so as to guide the
inverter´s configuration for proper connection to the electric grid.
Follow the instructions on the display. When selecting the country / regulation, select the country in which the
inverter is going to be installed. If the country is not on the list, select Worldwide and select the applicable
regulation. After selecting the regulation, configure the voltage and frequency.

10.6. Configure the string current measurement (versions P and P+)

CAUTION
On version S or S+ units the configuration is not that described in this section. If configuring the string current
measurement in these cases, it will create warnings on the display.
The unit periodically measures each string and performs a current measurement of all active strings, weighted
to the rated current. Then it calculates the deviation of each string with respect to this weighted average. If the
deviation of one of the strings surpasses the deviation percentage defined by the configuration, this string is
considered to have an anomalous current. If the current of this string is above the deviation percentage defined
during a time greater than that configured for the unit, it generates a current anomaly warning.
The anomalous current detection process starts when the current surpasses the greater of the following two values:
0.5 A or 10% of the strings rated current. The final aim of this starting point is to filter notifications when there is
a very low irradiance or during sunrise or sunset.
To configure the nominal currents of the strings, access the Main menu > Settings > Strings settings.
On the first screen we configure the rated currents of each string. On the next screen we configure the percentage
of deviation, the minimum time during which the configured deviation must remain to produce a notification, and
the configuration code (relative to topology and inverter nominal power)

This shows the main events such as alarms, warnings and reasons for shutdown.
