6 Operation

1) For switching on, set the sliding switch (4) to position
ON. The indicating bar (1) shows blue. If it shows yel-
low, the battery must be recharged (
indicating bar does no longer show yellow but red, the
WAP-7D may be operated while charging.
2) Adjust the volume with the control VOLUME (3).
3) When using the miniature microphone (A), switch it on
with the switch (a) [upper position]. During breaks when
talking it can be switched off (lower position), so that it
does not pick up any disturbing noise.
CAUTION! Do not direct the microphone towards the
speaker or too close to it. Then a loud, unpleasant feed-
back whistling occurs. If the volume has been adjusted
too high, a feedback whistling may also occur. In this
case adjust a lower volume with the VOLUME control.
4) To switch off, set the sliding switch (4) to position OFF.
