PV4 – solenoid valve of left tower
PV2 – solenoid valve of right tower
Both solenoid valves, PV2 and PV4, are closed during start-up.
Phase A. Solenoid valve PV2 is actuated and the pressure falls in tower 2 to atmospheric
pressure. Bypass valve 1 switches to closing tower 2 (as there is no pressure in this tower).
The inflow of compressed air is fed into tower 4, where adsorbent material adsorbs the
moisture to the required set amount.
Some of the dry air passes through the injector 7 from tower 4 to tower 2, where it expands.
