9 – Mode of operation
Triggering
Position the contact switch (2). Press
the unit up against the material and the
briefly press the trigger (1) and release.
Removing trapped staples or nails
Depending on how hard the work piece
is, individual staples or nails may
become trapped in the tool. In this case,
interrupt your work and unplug the unit
from the power. Use the hexagonal
wrench (10) to undo the screws (11) and
remove the front plate (12) (Figure 1b).
Use pliers to remove the trapped parts
and then screw the front plate back into
place.
Before doing any work, test the
materials to be joined for suitability and
behaviour and select the appropriate
staple size in accordance with Figure 6.
Set the necessary hammer force.
Soft materials
Slides, textiles, foam, paper: Stretch the
material as required, and position it
exactly before activating the stapler.
Once you have applied the staples or
nails, they are usually very difficult to
remove.

environmental
protection
• Clean the machine housing with a
damp cloth only – do not use
solvents! Then dry well. Never
submerge electrical machinery in
water.
