C. THE HELMET
VENTILATION 3 – CHIN VENTILATION
INLET
(Visor ventilation)
The C3 is provided with an air vent in the chin area for
ventilation of the visor. Irrespective of the rider
position, a diverting mechanism ensures that the
airstream ventilates the visor panel effectively even at
low speeds. Pressing on the bottom or top part of the
ventilation element opens or closes the vent
respectively.
VENTILATION 4 – HEAD VENTILATION
The C3 is fitted with a constant air extraction system.
The air inside the helmet is guided through air
channels in the inner shell to the rear of the helmet.
The vacuum pressure in the neck area ensures
continuous escaping of the air in the helmet and thus
provides comfortable conditions for the wearer.

VENTILATION 5 – HEAD VENTILATIONG
The top of the shell features an air inlet hood with
3 adjustable settings to ventilate the top of the head.
Air entering here is drawn via channels to the top of
the head and thus effectively draws away heat from
the interior. An innovative rain deflector system keeps
the penetration of water into the helmet during heavy
rain to a minimum. A slider is provided on the air inlet
hood for regulating the ventilation; this is also easy to
adjust while wearing gloves. Push the slider back to
the first latch position for partial ventilation. To
open the inlet fully, push the slider further back.
Adapting Ventilation for Summer
and Winter
You can match the ventilation of the C3 to weather
conditions and to your personal preferences. While
it is desirable in summer for air entering the helmet
to cool the top of your head as directly as possible,
the colder air of the fall or winter can be reduced or
directed away. To do this, lift the central bridge of
the head padding slightly and unfurl the plastic straps
situated behind it in the forehead area to cover the
ventilation channels.
