Z Heart pacemakers users or other electronic
implants users should clarify with their
medical doctor or with the manufacturer
of the implants whether these devices are
sufficiently interference resistant.
Proper installation and placement
The appliance must be installed and
connected to the electricity supply in
accordance with the separate installation
instructions. Have a qualified fitter/ electrician
carry out the necessary work.
The appliance is designed for use in the home
for preparing food. No liability is assumed
for any damage caused by improper use or
incorrect handling.
If the appliance is to be permanently
connected to the power supply:
Z Ensure that the device is installed only
by the customer service, an electrician
or trained personnel with the appropriate
knowledge/education.
Z Ensure that the device is installed in a way
that allows to disconnect it from the power
supply, with a contact opening distance
(3 mm) that ensures complete
disconnection in category III overvoltage
conditions.
Z Ensure that the device is connected
directly to the mains socket.
- Ensure that no adapters, no multi-
sockets and no extension cables are
used to connect the device.
Z Ensure that the supply cord is not damaged.
If damaged, contact customer services.
Z Ensure that the device is not exposed to
atmospheric agents (rain, sun).
Z Ensure that the ventilation of the appliance
is in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.

Z Keep pets away from the device.
Packaging materials, e.g. plastic film and
polystyrene, can be dangerous for children.
Z Keep packaging material away from
children.
Proper use
Z Only use the device to prepare and cook
food.
Z Observe the manuals of the cooking
devices that are used with the hob when
using the device.
Z Do not place power cables of other electric
appliances on hot parts of the appliance.
Z Do not use flammable liquids near the
appliance.
Z After use, switch off the hob by its controls.
Do not rely on the pan detector.
Z Do not operate the appliance with an
external timer switch or a separate remote
control system.
Z The cooking process has to be supervised.
- A short term cooking process has to be
supervised continuously.
- After use, switch off the hob element
by its control and do not rely on the pan
detector.
Z The appliance shall not be installed behind a
decorative door in order to avoid overheating.
Risk of burns!
During use the appliance becomes hot. Care
should be taken to avoid touching heating
elements inside the hob.
WARNING: Accessible parts may become hot
during use. Young children should be kept away.
