This is the procedure: with the locating dowels installed, place the wing on the
fuselage saddle with one dowel resting against the side of the fuselage. You can now
see the correct position (angle) of the holes, and mark their position. We recommend
that you start by drilling slightly lower than marked, and then use a round needle file
to open up the holes in the upward direction until the wing is in exactly the right
position.
Important: the leading edge and the underside of the wing must make good contact
with the wing saddle on the fuselage.
Place the wing on the fuselage in such a way that the wing rests on the saddle
correctly, as previously described. In this position drill two 4 mm Ø holes through the
wing and into the fuselage, using the wing as a guide for the drill. Take care to drill at
right-angles to the top surface of the wing.
Important: ensure that the wing is at right-angles to the fuselage centreline before
drilling the screw-holes. The correct position of the wing can be checked by
measuring the distance between the two wingtips and the tail end of the fuselage: the
dimension should be the same on both sides.

Press the captive nuts into the holes in the in-fill piece, fit the M4 plastic screws from
the top, and glue the nuts in place using UHU plus.
Caution: take care not to allow adhesive to get onto the threaded shank of the
screws.
Press the rubber grommets and the tubular spacers into the servo mounting lugs, as
shown in the photo, then screw the servos to the servo plate in the fuselage after
drilling 1.5 mm Ø pilot-holes for the retaining screws.
Align the servo output arms as shown in the photo, drill out the linkage holes to 1.6
mm Ø if necessary, and mount the swivel pushrod connectors on them. Tighten the
retaining nuts to the point where the connectors swivel smoothly, but without slop.
Shorten the 'snake' outer sleeves to suit, and file out the fuselage wing saddle to
allow access to the grubscrews with an allen key.
Rudder
Trim the balsa tail post to fit inside the trailing edge of the fin, and cut a notch in one
side to clear the rudder snake. Sand the inside of the fin trailing edge - where the
post will be glued - then glue the tail post in place using UHU schnellfest. Set the tail
post flush with the trailing edges of the fin, and fit screw-clamps on either side, with
