9. Monitor the charge current constantly on the display
instrument (Fig. 1, Pos. 1). The yellow LED (Fig. 1,
Pos. 4) will be lit during charging.

When the green LED (Fig. 1, Pos. 3) lights up, a
voltage of 2.3 V or 2.4 V (depending on the battery
temperature set) has been reached in each cell.
In a properly working battery, this means that the
battery is about 60% charged and can be used.

The battery must be tested before trickle char-
ging. Only batteries in perfect working order may
be charged further or trickle charged. To continue
charging, to trickle charge or to run the battery in
buffer mode, the battery temperature switch must
be switched to "Warm battery".
10. When charging is complete, switch off the charger.
11. Remove the terminal clips from the battery.

Faults
Charger does not respond after switching on and the
red LED does not light:
Check power supply.
Red LED flashes when the terminal clips have been
attached to the battery:
Check polarity. The red clip must be attached to
the positive terminal (+) and the black clip must be
attached to the negative terminal (-).

formed by persons with sufficient knowledge and
experience of electrical systems!

Cleaning

!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents and coarse
workshop cloths!
The housing and the LCD are only to be cleaned
using a soft cloth and neutral cleaning agents.

delines 2002/96/EG (WEEE).
Old electrical and electronic devices, inclu-
dingcables and accessories or batteries must
be disposed of separate to household waste.
Please use the return and collection sys-
tems in place for disposal in your area.
Damage to the environment and hazards
to personal health are prevented by pro-
perly disposing of BML 2415.
