Do not iron textiles while

they are being worn.
Prerequisite for steam ironing:
– sufficient water in the water
tank (11).
– The tank cap (13) is closed.
– The water tank is firmly inserted
in the steam generator iron (b).
1. Always place the steam iron (a)
firmly on the thermal rest (6) of
the steam generator iron (b).
2. Switch the appliance on. The
indicator light (15) will come
on to indicate that the ap-
pliance is connected to the
power. The following noises
are caused by the steam
heater and signal that water
is being heated. This process
takes a few seconds. Once
the water is heated, the low
steam light (18) will come on
permanently.
