The suitable iron
setting

An incorrect ironing tempera-
ture may damage textiles.
Do not set the steam iron

temperature any higher
than indicated on the care
label sewn onto the textile.
If the care label is now illegible,
you can use the following table as
a reference for the suitable heat
setting.

Adjusting iron setting
The steam iron has variable iron
settings from "●" and "●●" to "●●●
MAX".
• Adjust the desired iron setting
by turning the temperature
control dial (3). The iron set-
ting light (4) will illuminate
until the iron has reached the
desired temperature. Then
the light will go out again. The
same applies for any neces-
sary re-heating.
As the steam iron warms up
faster than it cools down,
you should always iron garments
requiring a low iron setting fi rst.
