your induction hob
introduction
You have chosen an Atag induction hob, an appliance that will
completely satisfy anyone who loves cooking.
Cooking on an induction hob is different from cooking on a
traditional appliance.
Induction cooking makes use of a magnetic field to generate
heat. This means that you cannot use just any pan on it. The
pans section on pages 20 and 21 gives more information
about this.
Cooking on an induction hob has a number of advantages. It
is easy, because the hob reacts quickly. Because, moreover,
it can also be set to a high power level, it can bring things to
the boil very quickly. The cooking zones can be set accurately
and to a very low power level.
In the "how it works" section on pages 19 and 20, you will
find comprehensive information about the advantages of
induction cooking.
The appliance is equipped with synchro-start. If you have an
extractor hood that is also equipped with synchro-start, it will
start up automatically when you use the controls on the hob.
