IMMAGAZZINAMENTO
In funzione della destinazione gli alternatori
possono essere imballati per la spedizione in
vari modi.
In ogni caso per movimentarli, osservare nella
bolla di accompagnamento, il peso, e con
mezzi adeguati, sollevare da terra il meno
possibile.
Nel caso che l'imballo debba essere movi-
mentato con carrelli, occorre che le forche
siano tenute il piu' larghe possibile in modo da
evitare cadute o scivolamenti.
In caso di immagazzinamento, gli alternatori
imballati e non, devono essere depositati in
un locale fresco e asciutto o comunque mai
esposto alle intemperie.
Una volta disimballato il generatore, (mono-
supporto) non scollegare il sistema di fissag-
gio rotore, in quanto quest'ultimo potrebbe
scivolare.
Per la movimentazione al fine dell'installa-
zione, sollevare i generatori, sempre, attra-
verso i propri golfari.

QUALORA IL GENERATORE SIA
STATO A LUNGO IMMAGAZZINATO,
PER EVITARE DANNI DOVUTI ALL'U-
MIDITA', E' CONSIGLIABILE VERIFI-
CARE LA RESISTENZA DI ISOLA-
MENTO DI TUTTI GLI AVVOLGI-
MENTI VERSO MASSA, ROTORE
COMPRESO.
I VALORI RILEVATI DEVONO ES-
SERE SUPERIORI AD 1 MΩ.
IN CASO CONTRARIO, BISOGNA IN-
VESTIRE GLI AVVOLGIMENTI CON
UN GETTO D'ARIA CALDA FINO A
CHE NON SI OTTENGA IL VALORE
SOPRARIPORTATO.
TRANSPORT AND
STORAGE
Alternators will be packed for shipment in a
manner suitable to their mode of transport and
final destination.
Prior to handling goods, please ensure that
lifting equipment is of sufficient capacity. Under
lifting conditions machinery should be elevated
to a minimal distance from the ground.
When lifting or moving goods by forklift appara-
tus, care should be taken to ensure that forks
are correctly positioned to prevent slipping or
falling of pallet or crate.
Both packed and unpacked alternators shall
be stored in a cool and dry room, and shall
never be exposed to the inclemency of the
weather.
With regard to single bearing alternators (form
MD35) please ensure that the rotor securing
device is in place. Failure to do so may lead to
slippage or assembly.
When installing the alternators, always lift them
by using their eyebolts.
IMPORTANT !
IN CASE THE ALTERNATOR HAS
BEEN STORED FOR A LONG TIME
AND IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGES
CAUSED BY HUMIDITY, WE SUG-
GEST THAT THE INSULATION RESI-
STANCE OF ALL WINDINGS TO
GROUND BE CHECKED INCLUDING
THE ROTOR. THE RESULTING DATA
MUST BE HIGHER THAN 1 MΩ. IF
DATA ARE NOT HIGHER THAN SAID
VALUE, BLOW WARM AIR OVER THE
WINDINGS TILL THE ABOVE MENTIO-
NED VALUE IS OBTAINED.
