    FUNCTIONS / OPERATION: GENERAL MIXING CONSOLE FUNCTIONS A mixing console fulfils three main functions: -Signal processing: Preamplification, level adjustment, mixing of effects. The LAX preamps provide undistorted and noise-free gain as is typically known only from costly outboard preamps. LINE IN Each mono input also features a balanced line input on a 6.3 mm Jack connector.

    FUNKTIONEN / BEDIENUNG: ALLGEMEINE MISCHPULTFUNKTIONEN Ein Mischpult erfüllt drei Hauptfunktionen: - Signalverarbeitung: Vorverstärkung, Pegelanpassung, Effektmischung, Frequenzentzerrung (Equalizer). - Signalverteilung (Routing): Summierung von Signalen und Überführung an AUX-Send-Wege für Effektbear- beitung und Monitormischungen; Verteilung auf eine oder mehrere Aufnahmespuren, Leistungsverstärker, Regieräume und/oder Stereoausgänge ("2-Track"). - Mischung: Einstellen der Lautstärkepegel, Frequenzverteilung und Positionierung der einzelnen Signale im Ste- reofeld, Steuerung des Ausgangspegels zur Überführung an Aufnahmegeräte, Frequenzweichen und Leistungs- verstärker.

  • Seite 25 BEDIENELEMENTE: Jeder Mono-Eingangskanal verfügt über einen symmetrischen Mikrofoneingang (XLR-Anschluss) und zuschaltbare +48-V-Phantomspeisung für Kondensatormikrofone. LAX-Vorverstärker zeichnen sich durch eine verzerrungs- und rauschfreie Signalverarbeitung aus, wie man sie sonst nur von teuren, externen Preamps kennt. LINE IN Zusätzlich verfügt jeder Mono-Eingangskanal über einen symmetrischen Line-Eingang (6,3-mm-Klinke). An diese Mono-Eingänge können auch unsymmetrische Geräte angeschlossen werden.
  • Seite 26 BEDIENELEMENTE: Mit dem Balance-Regler bestimmen Sie die Signalanteile des rechten und des linken Kanals in Relation zueinander, bevor sie auf den Stereo-Summenbus (MAIN MIX) geroutet werden. Wird der Line-Eingang eines Stereokanals mit einem Mono-Signal belegt, hat dieser Regler die gleiche Funktion wie die PAN-Regler der Monokanäle.

    BEDIENELEMENTE: - Schließen Sie niemals Mikrofone an einen Mixer (oder eine Stagebox bzw. einen Wandverteiler) an, wenn die Phantomspeisung aktiviert ist. Schalten Sie die Phantomspeisung erst ein, wenn alle Mikrofone angeschlossen sind. Außerdem sollten die Monitor-/PA-Lautsprecher stummgeschaltet werden, bevor Sie die Phantomspei- sung aktivieren.

Ist nur der linke Anschluss belegt, arbeitet der AUX RETURN-Weg automatisch im Monobetrieb. CONTROL ROOM OUT Am unsymmetrischen CTRL ROOM OUT-Anschluss liegt sowohl die Summe der Effektwege als auch die Stereo- summe (MAIN MIX) an.

Les préamplis micro des consoles LAX offrent un gain élevé, sans distorsion ni bruit de fond, avec une qualité audio digne de préamplis externes de prix élevé.
