KEEP YOUR BATTERY IN
GOOD CONDITION
You can prolong the life of your
battery considerably when you
take the following advise:
Check
every
month
the
electrolytic level of your battery,
when necessary top up with
distilled water. The charge
condition can be checked
with
an acid syphon.
Prevent poles and connections
becoming sulphated. Clean the
poles regularly and coat them
with petroleum jelly.
When you only drive short
distances, especially when you
are in your car mainly in town
traffic, your battery will come
under a heavy strain.
When you use your car very
little, the battery will tend to
discharge.
You should therefore check the
condition of charge of your
battery regularly and give it
through a long service life.
Regular
maintenance
increases efficiency.
WARNING:
Do
not
charge
non
rechargeable batteries.
When charging a battery do
not smoke and avoid open fire.
Electrolite Iiquide is corrosive.
Avoid contact!!!
To assure a fast diversion of
the gasses, which develop
during the charging process,
unscrew without fail the refill
tops of the battery and avoid
any open fire or spark forming.
The gasses are explosive.
Some chargers contains parts
like switches or relais with
which sparks or sparkbrigdes
can
occur,
so,
when
the
charger is used in a garage put
it in a suitable place or
space.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT:
As the colours of the wires in
the
mains
lead
of
this
appliance may not correspond
with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your
plug, proceed as follows:
• The wire which is coloured
BLUE must be connected to
the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured
BLACK.
• The wire which is coloured
BROWN must be connected
to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or
colourd RED.
• Neither of the wires must be
connected to the terminal
which is marked with the
letter E or by the earth
symbol
or coloured
GREEN or GREEN AND
YELLOW.
NOTE:
• NO
EARTHWIRE

REQUIRED AS THE UNIT
IS DOUBLE INSULATED.
• ALWAYS ENSURE CORD
GRIP
IS
FULLY
TIGHTENED.
• PLUG MUST ALWAYS BE

manufacturer
gives therefore one year free
of
charge
replacement
(parts or charger). Only
freight
charges
are
responsiblity
of

customer.
2) The guarantee extends not
to necessary repairs as
result of an accident, an
unprofessional dissassem
bly, damage through fall or
hit, unprofessional use or a
higher mains voltage as
indicated.
3) Under no condition contains
the guarantee the right of
compensation or repayment.
