Total Shock
®
Two elastic control elements allow independent adjustment for
compression and rotation. Compression is limited to 14mm of vertical
displacement (Figure A). The Total Shock
in-rotation and 10 degrees of outrotation if installed according to
instructions.
The Total Shock
endoskeletal system utilizing a 30mm tube. Trans-femoral (AK) and
transtibial (BK) amputees can both benefit from this unique design.

Vertical Compression Element Selection
These recommendations are meant as starting points only. You may
have to move up or down the chart based on amputee's comfort, activity
levels, or element compression.

Initial Fitting
When the amputee is standing, with equal weight on both limbs, the
