Note
The high limit safety cut-out can respond at temperatures
below –15 °C. The appliance may be subjected to these
temperatures during storage or transport.
Service code display
f Call up the service code display in the menu (see chapter f
"Settings / Menu settings").
f The plugs are described in chapter "Specification / Wiring f
diagrams and connections".
Fault Code
No display.
Scale build-up symbol
"Ca" appears.

Cause
There is no power.
There is no connection to the electronic assem-

Remedy
Connect the power supply.
Check whether plug X2 is properly inserted.
replace if required.
Descale the flanged immersion heater. The
symbol is automatically reset.
Check whether plug X10 is properly inserted.
Check the temperature sensor.
Check whether plug X7 is properly inserted.
Check the impressed current anode and wiring.
Check whether plugs X2 are inserted properly
in both assemblies.
Check the assemblies and the connecting cable.
Check whether plug X10 is properly inserted.
Check the temperature sensor.
Remedy the cause of the fault. Replace the high
limit safety cut-out.
Press the reset button
(see diagram).
Check the key.
Replace the flanged immersion heater.
Fill the water heater.
Check whether plug X7 is properly inserted.
Check the impressed current anode and wiring.
Check the replaceable fine-wire fuse.
Replace the electronic assembly for the control
unit.
