CLEANING AND CARE

• Check regularly that all screws are tightened.
• Dust the unit weekly with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• If water has dripped on the unit, remove it immediately with a soft, clean cloth and
allow the unit to dry.
• Do not use abrasive or silicone-based cleaning agents.
• Do not store the device where it is exposed to direct sunlight or near heat sources.
• Do not use cleaning agents containing abrasive particles, as these can scratch the
surface.
• Do not place very hot or very cold objects in the immediate vicinity of the fireplace
surface - unless sufficiently thick insulating material is used to prevent these objects
from coming into contact with the fireplace surface.
• Do not hit the control panel with hard or pointed objects.
• Do not rub heavily on the surface during cleaning.
Note on overheating protection
This unit has a safety shutdown that is activated when the air inlets or outlets are blocked
and the unit overheats. The unit continues to operate automatically when the temperature
drops.
