Special accessories
The natural stone heater is controlled via the room temperature
controller.
- RTA-S2, RTA-S UP: Room temperature controller with thermal
feedback, breaking capacity 10 A / 250 V.
- RTA 3000-S2: As per RTA-S2, but without a switch and with a
breaking capacity of 3000 W.
WARNING Electrocution
With a heating output of more than 1500 W, connect
the neutral conductor (N) directly to the mains. Do not
connect the neutral conductor to the controller.
- RTA 3600 UP: As per RTA-S UP, but without a switch and with
a breaking capacity of 3600 W.
- RTU-S: Room temperature controller with integral synchro-
nous time switch (24 h) for automatic temperature setback.

1 Natural stone panel
2 Wall mounting brackets with fixing screws
3 Power cable
4 Spacer studs
Note
The hexagon screws for wall mounting are not included
in the standard delivery.
A heating conductor, featuring 2 safety temperature limiters with
automatic reset, is laid in a duct system milled into the back of the
natural stone panels. The duct system is then filled with marble
adhesive which acts as a cover.

10. Installation site

The natural stone heater is intended solely for permanent wall
mounting. Ensure the wall offers adequate load bearing capacity.
It can be installed in any room. In bathrooms, the natural stone
heater can be mounted in safety zone 2 (not the mains junction
box).

11. Appliance installation

The natural stone heater is configured at the factory for horizontal
installation.
If you want to install it vertically, make the following changes
before beginning installation:
f Replace the wall mounting bracket above the power cable
f
with the diagonally positioned spacer stud.
WARNING Electrocution
Ensure that the power cable is always located at the
lower edge.
f Rotate both wall mounting brackets with the slot apertures
f
downwards.
Material losses
!
Carefully tighten the fixing screws in the natural stone
heater, as otherwise the rawl plugs in the natural stone
panel may over-rotate and become loose.

11.1 Wall mounting

Material losses
!
Only mount the natural stone heater on a flat wall, as oth-
erwise cracks may develop in the natural stone panel due
to stresses. In the event of unevenness in the mounting
wall, level the surface before tightening the fixing screws.
Material losses
!
Do not tilt or tip the natural stone heater. Otherwise, it
may break.
Material losses
!
If the fixing screws are over-tightened, the rawl plugs
in the natural stone panel may over-rotate and become
loose.
f Measure dimensions a and b for the drill holes on the natural
f
stone heater.
f Based on the measurements, drill the holes in a wall with
f
sufficient load-bearing capacity. Maintain a safety margin of
100 mm on all sides (e.g. dimension b + 100 mm).
f Only screw the hexagon screws far enough into the drill
f
holes that the natural stone heater can still be hooked over
the screw heads with the open slots in the wall mounting
brackets.
f Hang the natural stone heater. Tighten the hexagon screws.
f
Relieve any stress by slightly loosening the fixing screws in
the natural stone panel. Then retighten the fixing screws.
