The Quick Reference Guide is not a substitute for the operating manual.
It is essential to read and observe the operating manual. Please pay particular
attention to the safety instructions and information on the use and operation
of the PX-AR and the radio-linked smoke alarm devices

Radiolink Smoke Alarm
Push-Button
A PX-AR which is integrated into a
radio group, has a similar operation to
a PX-1C. If an alarm is triggered in a
main- or subgroup, the PX-AR is al-
so triggered. This triggering activates,
the Status-LED, the Buzzer, and the
relay itself.

2 Commissioning
The PX-AR cannot be the master in a
radio group. Therefore, to integrate the

learning mode. Perform the following
steps to integrate the PX-AR:
Start learning mode, if the PX-1C
is in its as delivered condition:
(1) Press and hold the radio button
of the PX-1C until the LED lights
up yellow, then release it imme-
diately.
Starting learning mode if the PX-1C is
already integrated into a radio group:

PX-1C until the LED lights up yellow
and wait until it goes out again. Only
then release the radio button!
(2) LED flashes yellow, than lights
up green
(3) Then the LED flashes in a slowly
yellow interval signal
