Description

The DC 3800c Twin is stable, tough and reliable
and particularly suited to source extraction where
high densities of dust are created. DC 3800c Twin is
suitable in many different applications e.g. concrete
grinding or other applications where large quantities
of dust need to be extracted.
The DC 3800c Twin is driven by two single-phase
motors.
The extraction system works as a vacuum that pulls
the air through suction casings/nozzles, the hose
system, separator and fi lter section. Coarse separation

Operation

Connect the machine to a suitable power source
according to the specifi cation plate on the machine.
If the electrical cable on the machine is damaged it
should be replaced.
The DC 3800c Twin is equipped with a fi lter indica-
tion lamp that indicates when the fi lter needs cleaning
or changing. The fi lter is generally cleaned once or
twice daily during normal continuous operation.
Reverse pulse fi lter cleaning:
Alternative 1 (e.g. concrete grinding machine with
fi xed connection)
1. Start the machine.
2. Close the shutter valve.
3. Open the fi lter cleaning port with a quick mo
tion. Repeat three to six times. This reverse
pulse of air cleans the fi lter.
4. Open the shutter valve.
5. If not the fi lterindication lamp does not go out,
change fi lter.

a highly effi cient separator for larger particulate.
The fi ne dust is separated and contained by the fi lter
system. Reverse pulse fi lter cleaning gives long fi lter
life and a consistently high suction capacity without
having to remove the fi lter. The machine is equipped
with a secondary HEPA fi lter.
Extracted material is collected in 40 l plastic sacks.
A dust free sack change can be done very easily by
hand.
The collected material is then easy to handle for
disposal or recycling. This is the case for the pre-
separator cyclone sack and the fi lter cyclone sack.
Alternative 2 (e.g. suction hose connected for clea-
ning)
1. Start the machine.
2. Disconnect the hose from the suction casing.
Put the free end of the suction hose over the
left handle. Push it towards the stop plate.
3. Open the fi lter cleaning port with a quick
motion. Repeat three to six times. This reverse
pulse of air cleans the fi lter.
4. Reconnect the hose to the suction casing.
5. If not the fi lterindication lamp does not go out,
change fi lter.
The plastic sack should be changed only after the
fi lter has been cleaned. The sack should be changed
when the dust level is about 5 cm under the foot valve.
The plastic sack should be sealed after removal from
the machine.
Only use original Dustcontrol plastic sacks.
