9. Problem solving

If the device malfunctions, please check first if you can eliminate the error yourself
with the help of the following overview.
Never try to repair the devices yourself. Contact our Service Centre or other quali-
fied personnel if a repair is necessary.
Problem
The device cannot be
switched on.
The LED ring flashes
red when the device is
switched on.
The device does not func-
tion after being switched
on.
The device turns on its
side.
The vacuum cleaner
moves backwards.
The side brushes do not
move.

Possible cause
The battery block is flat.
The battery block is flat.
The dust container is not
inserted correctly.
One or both of the wheels

Solution
 Recharge the battery
block fully for approx.
4 hours.
 Recharge the battery
block fully for approx.
4 hours.
 Remove all blockages.
 Insert the dust con-
tainer correctly.
 Remedy the problems
and then restart the
device.
 Place the device on
the floor some dis-
tance from the step.
 Remedy the problem
with the wheels.
 Place the vacuum
cleaner on a light
coloured floor.
 Clean the sensor.
 Remove the brushes,
clean them thoroughly
and replace them.
