Introduction

The present operating instructions contain all the information for correct operation and
maintenance of the Defensor Mk4 steam humidifier, type series "ST" and "IT".
The operating instructions are intended for personnel responsible for the operation
and maintenance of the Defensor Mk4. It is assumed that such personnel possess
a knowledge of the operation and maintenance of steam humidifiers.
Defensor Mk4 steam humidifiers are designed according to the current state of the
art and the recognised technical safety regulations (Certificate of Conformity). In
the event of improper use, however, danger can result for the user or third party
and/or impairment of the installation and other material damage.
The instructions and directions in the operating instructions must be observed and
followed without fail by all persons concerned with the operation of the Defensor
Mk4.
The following points must be observed in addition to these operating instructions:
- All local safety regulations concerning application of electrical equipment
supplied from the mains.
- All instructions and warning notices in the publications for the products used
together with the Defensor Mk4 steam humidifier.
- All safety regulations concerning the system in which the Defensor Mk4 is fitted.
- All instructions and warnings provided on the Defensor Mk4 steam humidifier.
- All local sanitary regulations.
