Resolution
The resolution determines the size of the recording in pixels. As a general rule: The
higher the resolution, the more storage space is required. The following settings are
available:

Your camcorder supports recording videos in modern wide-
screen format. For pictures, however, the aspect ratio is
downscaled to 4:3 automatically. This is due to the fact that
printouts in the photo lab normally have a 4:3 aspect ratio. In
this case, when pointing the device towards a scene, the
screen preview contains black bars on the left and right.
Effect
You can record contents using the settings Default, Black and White, and Sepia. To
do this, select the corresponding icon.
