Switching the Camcorder On and Off

Press the On/Off button (18) to power the camcorder on.
Press the On/Off button (18) to power the camcorder off.
When opening the display, the camcorder will power on
automatically. As soon as you close it, the device will power
off.
The following table shows an overview of the different states of the power
indicator (4):
Colour
Green
Alternate blinking red/green
Red
Blinking green
Quickly blinking green

Switching the Operating Mode

Press the mode selector button (6) multiple times to toggle between the modes
Movie, Photo and Setup. An icon for the currently selected operating mode will
appear in the upper-left corner of the display:
capture. As soon as the setup menu appears, the live preview will be disabled and
only the menu will be visible.

Setting the Menu Language

1. Power the device on by pressing the On/Off button (18) or by opening the
camcorder display.
