General
The DKR 36 is a versatile machine intended for
general-purpose drilling and chipping in the con-
struction and stone industries. Examples of its uses
include:
* Drilling holes and chipping in the heating, water
and sanitation industries, and in electricity installa-
tions.
* Drilling and/or chipping-out holes in concrete
walls.
* Roof drilling for the suspension of ventilation ducts
in buildings, mines, tunnels etc.
* The drilling of holes in boulders for the insertion of
wedges for boulder-splitting purposes.
* Drilling holes in plaques, monuments, tombstones
etc; for the insertion of plugs, studs etc.
The DKR 36 can be used for drilling holes 8 - 38 mm
in diameter, and up to 300 mm in depth.
The DKR 36 can be adapted for drilling or chipping by
simply changing the tool. Drill bits give percussion
with rotation, while chisels give percussion only.
The machine is equipped with a quick-release chuck
for quick and simple tool changing, which makes it
easy to carry out different jobs. The chuck can be fit-
ted with a round or hexagonal chuck bushing.

Precautions before starting

* Make sure that the correct length and size of
compressed-air hose is fitted.
* Make sure that the compressed-air line and claw
couplings are in good condition, i.e. not worn or
damaged.
* Make sure that all connections for compressed air
are safely tightened and secured.
