Operation:
Startup:
Remove the battery safety strip. Pull off the protection foil
on the display. The unit is now ready to use.
Display:
The left row shows the indoor relative humidity, the middle
row the room temperature and the right row the dew point.
The temperature unit can be changed from °C to °F by the
°C/°F-button at the backside.
If the air humidity exceeds 65 % there is a risk of mould for-
mation; a frowning face will appear on the display and an
alarm signal is sounded. The acoustic signal can be muted by
operating the sliding switch on the rear-side.
MIN / MAX temperatures:
• Press the MIN / MAX button and the highest temperature
and humidity is displayed since the last reset.
• Press the MIN / MAX button again, the display shows the
lowest temperature and humidity since the last reset.
• To go back to the present values, press the MIN / MAX but-
ton once more.
• Press the RESET button to reset the MIN / MAX values to
the present values.
Placing or hanging up the unit:
A circular opening is provided on the rear-side of the unit for
hanging on the wall. To place the unit in the standing posi-
tion use the foot supplied with the unit.
Since the humidity level within rooms can vary greatly accor-
ding to the location, mount the unit so that it will monitor
the conditions in a location likely to be subject to the most
problems.
Battery replacement:
Open the battery compartment and insert 2 batteries 1.5V AA.
Close the battery compartment.

Installazione in posizione verticale o appesa:
Sulla parte posteriore dell'apparecchio si trova un foro per
l'applicazione alla parete. Per l'installazione in posizione ver-
ticale, utilizzare il basamento fornito in dotazione.
Poiché i valori di umidità nelle stanze possono variare note-
volmente a seconda della posizione, posizionare l'appa-
recchio per il controllo il più possibile vicino ai punti in que-
stione.
Cambiare le batterie:
Aprire il vano batteria e cambiare le batterie (2 x 1.5 V AA).
Attenzione: Non gettare le pile esaurite tra i rifiuti domestici.
Riporle negli appositi contenitori per la raccolta.

panno soffice inumidito con acqua. Non usare solventi o
abrasivi.
• Non effettuare riparazioni sugli apparecchi. Per favore
riportarli al punto vendita originale. Prima del reclamo,
cambiare le batterie. Nel caso di uso scorretto o di apertu-
ra dell'apparecchio non assumiamo alcuna garanzia.
