Problem
The bag or foil melts or
is ripped at the seal.
The container is not eva-
cuated (function VACU-
UM MARINATE).
After some time of sto-
rage, the container is
filled with gas again.
Even after installing the
locking pins, the lid can
be moved manually.

Possible Reasons
You have used improper
foils or bags.
The appliance may be
overheated. The sealing
bar is too hot during the
sealing process.
The vacuum hose is not
connected properly.
The vacuum hose is
blocked or damaged.
The vacuum container is
not airtight.
The food sealed is
not suited for vacuum
packaging.
The food has gone bad.
The vacuum container is
not airtight.
The locking pins are not
fixed correctly to the
locks in the base of the
appliance.
The locking pins or locks
of the appliance are
damaged.
The Easy Solution
Only use foils and bags suitable for foil sealing appliances.
Unplug the appliance and leave the appliance cool down for
at least 30 minutes. After each sealing process, wait at least
60 seconds (1 minute) before sealing the next bag.
Ensure that the correct end of the vacuum hose is pushed
properly onto the vacuum outlet of the appliance.
Ensure that the connection of the vacuum hose to the vacu-
um port of the container lid is airtight.
Contact your vendor for replacement.
Ensure that the lid seal of the container and the rim of the
container and container lid are completely clean. If required,
replace the seal.
Ensure that the vacuum container is completely undamaged
and without any cracks, scratches and deformation. If in dou-
bt, use another container.
Naturally, some types of food produce gases during storage.
These foods are not suited for vacuum sealing (see: 'Tips for
Best Results').
Perishable food produces gases when going bad.
In these cases, discard the food!
Ensure that the lid seal of the container and the rim of the
container and container lid are completely clean. If required,
replace the seal.
Ensure that the vacuum container is completely undamaged
and without any cracks, scratches and deformation. If in dou-
bt, use another container.
Possibly, you need to position the locks correctly, before
installing the locking pins. Connect the appliance to the
mains power supply. Then touch the contact bar to close the
lid ("CLOSE"). Touch the contact bar again to re-open the lid.
Thereafter, the locks will be positioned correctly. Insert the
locking pins and carefully check, whether the lid is fixed to
the locks now.
