Installation
Removing Clamping Plate

Unscrew the upper and lower tensioning nuts (1, 5).

Remove the two tensioning nuts and the washers (2, 6) from the pull rods.

Push the clamping plate (3) carefully along the pull rod towards the back and

remove it completely.
Clean the inner surface of the clamping plate and the product plate (3, 4).

In doing so, follow the instructions in Chapter [Æ „5. Cleaning", page 11].

Inserting the Cassette
Unpack the cassette.

Insert the cassette into the filter holder.

− Ensure that the recesses of the cassette are seated on the base pull rod and

below the top pull rod.

− If required, insert a second cassette.
Place the clamping plate (3) back onto the pull rods and push it carefully up
t

onto the cassette.
Tensioning the Cassette
Before each use, the PEEK plain washers must be cleaned with water in order
to completely maintain the functionality of the filter holder.
− After every 10 uses, the plain washers should be replaced with new ones.
Clean the PEEK washers (2, 6) with water and place them back onto the two pull

t
rods.
Screw the tensioning nuts (1, 5) loosely onto the two pull rod.

Check that the cassette is seated correctly and tighten the upper and lower
t
t
tensioning nuts by hand (1, 5).
Thread the socket head onto the torque wrench.

Set the correct tightening torque on the torque wrench.
t
t
Uniformly tighten both tensioning nuts with the torque wrench by alternating
t
t
between up and down.
4.4 Removing the Cassette
Before removing used cassettes, check to make sure that the previous process has
ended.
Uniformly and alternatingly unscrew the upper and lower tensioning nuts (1, 5).

Push the clamping plate (3) down carefully along the pull rods.

Remove the cassettes from the filter holder.
t
t
Dispose of the packaging according to the applicable environmental regulations.
