Before carrying out an earth fault loop impedance test, confirm the continuity of protective
conductors and earthed equipotential bonding.
Exposed metalwork of an installation or equipment under test must not be touched.
If either neon indicator fails to illuminate, switch off the supply, and check the installation wiring
connections.
Never connect the instrument across two phases of a 3 phase supply.
Replacement fuses must be of the correct type and rating.
Refer to page 8 for further explanations and other precautions.
Warnings and Precautions must be read and understood before the instrument is used.
They must be observed during use.
