Öldurchflussüberwachung

Funktionsweise

Zwei voneinander unabhängige und gleiche Signal-
meldegeräte (32211/34211) überwachen die Zahn-
radölpumpen (36000/39000) des Turboladers auf
Verdichter- und Turbinenseite (s. Fig. 3-5).
Inbetriebnahme
Beide Ölräume mit neuem Turbinenöl füllen
(s. Kap. 2).
Vorsicht !
Angaben zum Nachfüllen von Öl beach-
ten (s. Kap. 2).
- Bei Motorstillstand leuchtet die untere, rote Diode
am Signalmeldegerät (32211/34211) auf.
Hinweis
Bei Motorstillstand und fehlender Spei-
sung stehen die Kontakte des Ausgangs-
relais auf "Alarm".
Trotz abgestelltem Motor kann sich
der Turbolader-Rotor durch Ventilation
drehen. Das Öl läuft daher nur langsam
oder gar nicht aus dem Messwertgeber
(36000/39000) ab. (Schaltzustand "OK",
obere, grüne Diode leuchtet, s. Fig. 3-5).
Beim Inbetriebnehmen des Motors bzw. Turboladers
und damit bei Ölförderbeginn erlischt die untere, rote
Leuchtdiode, und die obere, grüne leuchtet.
Das Ausgangsrelais hat angezogen, die Kontakte
stehen auf Schaltzustand "Betrieb OK".
Hinweis Die untere, rote Leuchtdiode "Alarm"
leuchtet (s. Fig. 3-5), wenn:
- kein Öldurchfluss vorhanden ist
- der Rotor stillsteht
- keine Speisespannung anliegt oder
- die Kabel defekt sind.
Vorsicht ! Wenn im Betrieb die Alarmanzeige
leuchtet, muss, um schwere Schäden
am Turbolader zu vermeiden, die Motor-
leistung sofort reduziert und der Ölstand
überprüft werden.

2.5 Oil flow monitoring system

Mode of operation
Two similar and mutually independent signaling
devices (32211/34211) monitor the gear oil pumps
(36000/39000) of the turbocharger on the compressor
and turbine ends (see fig. 3-5).
Taking into service
Fill both oil spaces with new turbine oil (see chap. 2).
Caution !
- If the engine is at a standstill, the lower red diode
on the signaling device (32211/34211) lights up.
Note
If the engine or the turbocharger are started up and
oil pumping starts, the lower, red diode goes out and
the upper green diode lights up.
The output relay has been actuated, the contacts are
at the position "Operation OK".

Operation and maintenance
Observe the instructions for filling oil (see
chap. 2).
If the engine is at a stillstand and the
power supply cut off, the contacts of the
output relay are at the "alarm" position.
Despite the fact that the engine is shut
down, the turbocharger rotor still can turn
due to ventilation. Thus the oil flows only
slowly or not at all out of the transmitter
(36000/39000). (Status "OK", upper
green diode lights up) (see fig. 3-5).
The lower, red diode "Alarm" lights up
(see fig. 3-5) if:
- no oil is flowing
- the rotor is at a standstill
- the voltage is cut off or
- the cables are defective.
If the alarm indicator lights up during ope-
ration, the engine must be immediately
slowed down and the oil level checked
in order to avoid serious damage to the
turbo charger.
