Description

The CoolTrans is connected to the cooling water circuit of the building (e.g., to the cooling water circuit of
the air conditioning of the building)
The high-level capacity heat exchanger installed in the CoolTrans separates the cooling water circuit of
the server cabinets from the cooling water circuit of the building.
The secondary cooling water is controlled by a motor-driven valve on the primary side. The control valve
is equipped with a redundant emergency running function, i.e. in the event of disturbance, it will open
automatically and the entire heat can be discharged from the secondary circuit.
The dew-point temperature is monitored within the CoolTrans.
The secondary cooling water flow temperature is automatically raised to such a level that no condensate
may form at the server cabinets.
For this purpose, the inclusive humidity sensor needs to be installed in the room where the server
cabinets are placed and must be connected to the CoolTrans.
