Charging process

Note
Please read and adhere to the charger op-
erating instructions.
 Press the battery release mechanism.
 Remove the battery from the device.
Note
New battery packs are only pre-charged
and must be completely charged prior to
the initial use.
 Plug in the mains plug.
 Push the battery pack into the mounting
on the charger.
 The charger performs a self test and the
charging process starts automatically.
 The charging progress is shown in the
charge level display.
 The battery pack is fully charged when
all LEDs in the charge level display light
up continuously.
 After charging, remove the battery pack
from the charger.
 Pull out the mains plug.
Note
Charge batteries that have not been used
for a long time before use.
The capacity of a battery pack decreases at
low temperatures.
Long periods of storage at temperatures
above 40 °C will reduce the capacity of the
battery pack.
Note
The charged battery pack can remain on
the charger till it is to be used. There is no
risk of over-charging.
In order to avoid unnecessary energy con-
sumption, the charger should, however, be
unplugged as soon as the battery pack has
been fully charged.
CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport
it.
 When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.
CAUTION

of the appliance in case of storage.
This appliance must only be stored in inte-
rior rooms.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage! Store the battery packs in
rooms with low humidity and below 20 °C
only.

Care and maintenance

DANGER
Switch the device off and remove the bat-
tery before working on the device.
Clean/replace the filter element
1 Dirt receptacle
2 Pre-filter
3 Cartridge filter
 Unlock and remove the dirt receptacle.
 Pull the cartridge filter out of the dirt re-
ceptacle.
 Pull the pre-filter off the cartridge filter.
 Clean the filter element or replace if
necessary.
