GUARDAR A UNIDADE
◾
Retire a bateria do aparador de fio quando não o utilizar.
◾
Limpe bem o aparelho antes de o guardar.
◾
Armazene a unidade num local seco, bem ventilado,
trancado ou elevado, fora do alcance das crianças. Não
armazene a unidade em cima ou perto de fertilizantes,
gasolina ou outros químicos.
Proteção do ambiente
Não elimine o equipamento elétrico, o
carregador da bateria e as baterias/
baterias recarregáveis juntamente com o
lixo doméstico comum!
De acordo com a norma europeia
2002/19/UE, o equipamento elétrico e
eletrónico que deixe de ser usado e de
IT
acordo com a norma europeia 2006/66/
CE, as baterias gastas ou defeituosas têm
de ser recolhidas em separado.
Se os equipamentos elétricos forem elimi-
nados em aterros ou lixeiras, substâncias
perigosas podem vazar para os lençóis
freáticos e entrar na cadeia de alimenta-
ção, danificando a sua saúde e bem-estar.

PROBLEMA CAUSA

The battery pack is not attached
to the string trimmer.

No electrical contact between
the trimmer and battery.
String trimmer fails
to start.

SOLUÇÃO
◾
Attach the battery pack to the string trimmer.
◾
Remove battery, check contacts and reinstall the
battery pack.
◾
Charge the battery pack.
◾
Press down the lock-off lever and hold it, then
depress the trigger to turn on the string trimmer.
◾
Remove the battery pack and mount the guard on
the trimmer.
◾
Use standard nylon cutting line with diameter no
more than 2.4 mm.
◾
Stop the trimmer, remove the battery, and remove
the grass from the motor shaft and trimmer head.
◾
Remove the trimmer head from the grass. The
motor will recover to work as soon as the load is
removed. When cutting, move the trimmer head in
and out of the grass to be cut and remove no more
than 20cm of length in a single cut.
◾
Allow the battery pack or trimmer to cool until the
temperature drops below 67°C.
◾
Re-install the battery pack.
◾
Charge the battery pack.
◾
Stop the trimmer, remove the battery, and remove
the grass from the motor shaft and trimmer head.
◾
Remove the battery and replace the cutting line;
follow the section "LINE REPLACEMENT" in this
manual.
◾
Remove the battery and clean the spool, spool
retainer and spool base.
◾
Remove the battery, remove the line from the
spool and rewind; follow the section "LINE
REPLACEMENT" in this manual.
◾
Remove the battery and pull the lines while
alternately pressing down on and releasing the
bump knob.
