1 Operating Elements and Connections

1.1 Control module with spotlights

To be able to assign the spotlights during DMX control,
they are numbered S1 to S4 in fig. 2, for further infor-
mation chapter 10.1.
1 Lateral cover (2 ×); can be unscrewed for rearrang-
ing the spotlights
2 Mains jack for connection to a socket (230 V~/
50 Hz) via the supplied mains cable
3 Support for the mains fuse
Only replace a blown fuse by one of the same type.
4 DMX signal input (3-pole XLR) for connection of a
light controller;
pin 1 = ground, 2 = DMX-, 3 = DMX+
5 DMX signal output (3-pole XLR) for connection to
the DMX input of another DMX light effect unit;
pin 1 = ground, 2 = DMX-, 3 = DMX+
6 Connection jack for the remote control LC-3
7 Microphone for music control
8 LED MASTER lights up in the master mode
(operation without DMX controller or with the re-
mote control LC-3)
9 LED DMX lights up when DMX control signals are
present at the DMX INPUT (4)
10 Display
11 LED SLAVE lights up in the slave mode
(control by another PARL-4SET or by the control
panel LED-4C)
12 LED SOUND lights up shortly for music control via
the microphone (7)
13 Control buttons
Button MENU to call the adjusting menu and to
select the menu items
Buttons DOWN and UP to change an adjustment in
the menu
Button ENTER to activate a menu item and to store
an adjustment
14 LED spotlight
15 Spigot (∅ 28 mm) for placing onto a stand
16 Fixing nut: prevents the spotlight from moving in
the guide rail
17 Locking screw: holds the spotlight in the tilt axis
18 Fixing nut: holds the spotlight in the pan axis
19 Connection for the control module

1.2 Remote control LC-3

The remote control is available as an accessory and
not supplied with the PARL-4SET.
20 Button STAND BY to switch the LEDs on and off
21 Button FUNCTION to select different functions
depending on the function mode selected with but-
ton MODE (22) [ chapter 6.3]
