4SET. The other functions of the PARL-4SET are then
automatically assigned to the following addresses. An
example with the start address 17 is shown below:

1) Press button MENU (13) so many times until the
display (10) shows

Once the control signals of the DMX controller are
received, the red LED DMX (9) lights up and the dis-
play shows the start address. The PARL-4SET can

7.4 Control with the LED-4C

The unit LED-4C from "img Stage Line" is an easy-to-
operate control panel for the spotlight set. It has
4 channels so that all PARL-4SET units connected to it
can only be controlled in sync. To control the PARL-
4SET with the LED-4C, a special mode must be
switched on:
1) Connect the jack DMX OUTPUT of the LED-4C via
the DMX cable to the jack DMX INPUT (4) and
switch on the LED-4C.
2) Press the button MENU (13) so many times until the
display (10) shows

3) Press the button ENTER. The number of DMX
channels will be shown in a flashing way.
4) Switch with the button DOWN or UP to the indica-
tion on the display and memorize it with the

modified function mode, the display shows
(remote control) and the red LED SLAVE (11) lights
up. For faster switching-over keep the button
MENU pressed until the display shows

8 Further Functions

8.1 Display of the operating hours and
firmware version
Press the button MENU (13) so many times until the
corresponding menu item is shown on the display (10):
for the display of the operating hours
for the display of the firmware version
(operating system of the unit)
Confirm the selection with the button ENTER. The dis-
play shows the desired information. After one minute
the unit is switched back to the previous operating
mode. For faster switching-over keep the button
MENU pressed until the display shows the function
mode.

8.2 Test operation

For testing the unit a test programme may be started.
Press the button MENU (13) so many times until the
display (10) shows
start the test run. To end the test programme, press the
button MENU again. After 60 seconds the unit is
switched back to the previous operating mode. For
faster switching-over keep the button MENU pressed
until the display shows the function mode.

9 Cleaning the Unit

The four plastic panes in front of the LEDs should be
cleaned at regular intervals from the outside, depend-
ing on impurities caused by dust, smoke or other par-
ticles. Only this will ensure that the light is radiated at
maximum brightness. For cleaning, disconnect the
mains plug from the socket. Only use a soft, clean
cloth and a mild detergent. Then wipe the plastic
panes dry.
For cleaning the other parts of the housing, only use
a soft, clean cloth. Never use any fluid; it may leak into
the unit and cause damage.
