5.1 Assembly
5.1.1 Mounting on a wall
Warning!
Keep a minimum distance of 200 cm between
the front grille and any objects (e.g. curtains),
walls and other structural elements. There
must be a clearance of 50 cm between the
side of the equipment and any objects or
walls which are not within the radius of radi-
ation. The distance to the ceiling must be at
least 50 cm.
Mounting in a horizontal and stationary posi-
tion on vertical walls at a height of at least 1.8
m above the floor is mandatory. The distance
to the ceiling must be at least 50 cm.
The equipment is not allowed to be fitted to
the ceiling. The heat emitted by the heater
may turn wooden ceilings dark in spite of ob-
serving the minimum distance to the ceiling.
Caution! Make sure that there are no electric
cables or other installations (for example water
pipes) near the drill holes. Ensure that the equip-
ment is secured fi rmly and horizontally to the wall.

infl ammable. The supplied dowels and screws are
suitable for the following: Concrete.
Fig. 3: Transfer the position of the four drill
holes from the universal bracket onto the wall
with a marker. Remember to allow for the mi-

Drill the holes in the wall and insert the wall
plugs.
Remove the nuts, spring washers and
washers from the supplied metal plugs.
Fig. 4: Place the universal bracket (2) which
is fitted to the heater onto the metal plugs
projecting from the wall. Screw the universal
bracket tightly to the wall.
5.1.2 Fitting to a pipe (Fig. 8)
Alternatively the heater can be fastened to a sui-
table pipe (width larger than 20 mm / height less
than 40 mm), for example in a roofed pergola,
suspended above the fl oor/ground.
Warning!
The equipment must be fitted in a horizontal
position at least 1.8 m above the floor.
The front grille is only allowed to point down-
wards and not towards a wall.
Keep to the minimum clearances specified
in 5.1.1 for clearance from the front grille and
from the sides of the equipment.
Persons at which the heater is pointed must
be a minimum of 50 cm from the front grille.
The minimum clearances between, e.g. a wall
and the back of the heater and between the
ceiling and the pipe bracket must be more
than 10 cm (Fig. 5).
Fig. 6: Fasten the pipe bracket (4) to the
universal bracket (2). Use the M6x12 screws
(13) and M6 hex nuts (14) for this purpose.
Fig. 7: Slide the slip-proof support (5) bet-
