3.2 Restoring from S7 memory card
3.2.1 Finding available controllers
Expansions with WinCC V12 (TIA Portal)

1. Click the "Service & Commissioning" button in the
Control Panel.
2. Switch to the "Restore" tab and click the "Next"
button.
3. In the "IP address" option, enter the valid IP
address of a controller with a memory card from
which you want to restore data, or select the
option "Accessible devices in target subnet" to
find available controllers in the subnet of the
HMI device.
4. Start the search with the "Start Scan" button.
All controllers found are displayed in the
"Accessible devices" dialog.
If you have specified a specific controller via the
"IP address", the list contains only one entry.
If you have searched for available controllers with
"Accessible devices in target subnet", all controllers
of the type S7-1500 in the subnet of the HMI device
are displayed.
