• En allumant le système, il faut absolument veiller à allumer d'abord l'émetteur et
ensuite le récepteur. Vous prévenez ainsi des réactions incontrôlées du modèle
réduit, provoquées par des fréquences perturbatrices provenant d'émetteurs
récepteurs, d'émetteurs radiophoniques ou de radiocommandes sur des canaux
avoisinants.
• Tirez, pour la mise en service de votre modèle, l'antenne télescopique sur l'émet-
teur sur toute sa longueur, car autrement le récepteur présente une portée consi-
dérablement diminuée.
• En éteignant la radiocommande, veillez à éteindre d'abord le récepteur et ensuite
l'émetteur.
• En cas de dérangement, arrêtez immédiatement votre modèle et supprimez la
cause du dérangement avant de remettre le modèle en marche.
• Ne faites fonctionner votre modèle que dans une zone où vous ne mettez en dan-
ger aucune autre personne, animal ou objet.
• Protégez la radiocommande de l'humidité et de fortes salissures.
• N'exposez pas l'émetteur, pour une longue durée, à un rayonnement direct du
soleil ou à une chaleur trop élevée.
• Enlevez les piles ou les accus insérés, si vous n'utilisez pas le système pour une
longue durée.

Fuel-burning models:
• Shift the selector switch for the accelerator neutral position to the 70: 30 position.
The trim slide switch should be in the middle position..
• Now, turn on the transmitter first and the receiver afterwards.
• Mount the servo lever on the servo now in a way that the throttle tap on the car-
burettor is almost closed in this position (idling position).
• If you shift the accelerator joystick on the transmitter to the frontmost position the
carburettor should be opened completely.
• If the servo should run in the wrong direction reverse the direction of servo travel,
using the switch for the accelerator/brake reversal function of the servo.
• If you pull the joystick completely rearwards the brake of the vehicle should
respond. An adjusting screw disposed on the carburettor will prevent the carbu-
rettor from closing completely. As a result, the motor will not be shut down during
the braking operation.
• Adjust the proper function of the throttle tap on the carburettor still prior to the first
engine start-up, using the springs and the setting collar.
• You may reregulate the idling run of the engine with great care, using the trim slide
switch for the accelerator/brake. Readjust the accelerator linkage until the trim
slide switch is in the middle position again under an optimal idle run.
Electric models
• Adjust the linkage for the mechanical speed regulator in such a way that the elec-
tric motor will not start up when the joystick for the accelerator is in the middle
position (see the servo installation).
• When steering in the forward and backward travels on the transmitter the speed
regulator has to reach the respective contacts smoothly and to properly switch
the motor to the correct sense of rotation.
Our recommendation: For an adjustment of the speed regulator, simply connect a
12 V bulb in lieu of the motor. You will realize immediately whether the regulator is
switched or not. The model will then continue to safely stand on the trial bench. For
a verification of the sense of rotation, place the model on an appropriate support to
enable the wheels to idle.
Adjust the steering servo
• Set the trimming lever for the steering mechanism to the middle position on the
transmitter.
• Now, turn on the telecontrol system.
• Check up whether the servo lever is properly mounted in the neutral position (at
90° with respect to the linkage). The linkage has to traverse the same length in
either direction. It is only in this way that turning radii of the same size can be car-
ried out by the model.
