Proceed as follows to ensure a correct setup:
• Find a suitable location for mounting the camera.
• Unscrew the "mounting ring" (8) from the "base plate" (9).
• There are holes for installation in the "base plate" (9). Mark these (e.g. with a pencil)
on the ceiling.
• Drill the holes.
• Fix the "base plate" (9) with suitable fixings to the ceiling.
• Adjust the camera horizontally. To do this, loosen the screw on the "horizontal
adjustment element" (3). Adjust the camera to the desired position. Tighten the
screw on the "horizontal adjustmen element" (3).
• Adjust the camera vertically. To do this purpose, loosen the screw on the "vertical
adjustment element" (7). Adjust the camera to the desired position. Tighten the
screw on the "vertical adjustment element" (7).
• Place the "cover" (6) on the "base plate" (9) and screw the "mounting ring" (8) on to
the "base plate" (9).
Check that the "camera lens" (4) has free sight through the trans-
parent area in the "cover" (6).
Do not point the camera directly toward a source of bright sunlight or
towards strong or indirect illumination as this may lead to over-
exposure and a fuzzy picture.

Connecting the Camera

• Connect the cable for the power supply (= black socket) to the low-voltage plug of a
stabilised transformer.
Only a 12 V/DC stabilised transformer may be used, which provides at
least 110 mA (recommended = 150 mA).
• Connect the yellow BNC cable to the analogue video input on your display unit.
• Plug the transformer into a suitable mains socket.
Start-up
• Make sure the power supply unit is connected to the camera.
• Plug the transformer into a mains socket.
• Switch on your display unit.
• Select the appropriate channel on your display to obtain a picture.
Always pay attention to the operating instructions for your display
unit, as well.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before cleaning the housing of the surveillance camera, separate it from the mains
voltage and disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the camera, it is sufficient to use a dry, soft and clean cloth.
Clean the camera housing very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use
any aggressive cleaning agents.
