• Proceed as described above to register additional smoke detec-
tors.
• Once all smoke detectors are registered, terminate the process
by pressing " C" three times.

4. Test / Sensitivity Settings

On order to adjust the triggering sensitivity to the respective surro-
undings and requirements, the smoke detector features an adjuster.
This is located next to the batteries (see ill. 1 below). Upon delivery,
this adjuster is located in the right position, which indicates the hig-
hest level of sensitivity. Retain this setting for normal use.
For example, if you do not want normal cigarette smoke to trigger
an alarm, reduce the level of sensitivity by CAREFULLY turning the
adjuster counter-clockwise with a suitable screwdriver. The trigge-
ring threshold can be tested as follows:
• Turn the central station to "inactive". Smoke detectors are always
active and always trigger the internal siren of the central station
(with "active external" also the external siren, adjustable).
• Measuring takes place in 10-second intervals, the LED lights up
briefly during measuring.
• With a cigarette or similar, blow smoke through the grate of the
smoke detector.
• The smoke detector goes off and sounds an alarm via the internal
signal generator. At the same time, the internal siren of the central
station also sounds an alarm.
• By pressing the key "inactive" on the central station or the remo-
te control twice (saves you from having to walk back and forth
during adjusting), the alarm is stopped and erased.
• Repeat this procedure until you have adjusted the desired sensi-
tivity.

3.3. Demande de connexion du détecteur de
fumée à la centrale
Placer tout d´abord la centrale en état de réception pour la deman-
de de connexion des capteurs: Prière d´exécuter les étapes suivan-
tes:
• Actionnez la touche « Menu a/A » (en bas à gau-
che), il apparaît
• Choisir le menu « Capteurs » à l´aide des touches
« » et « »
• Vous accédez à ce menu par la touche « OK », il
apparaît :
• Vous accédez à Ajouter des capteurs par la tou-
che «OK» ( X = nombre de capteurs déjà en con-
nexion + 1):
• Introduisez trois piles de type AA dans le support à piles en res-
pectant la polarité.
• Le détecteur de fumée envoie un signal radio à la centrale. La
DEL du capteur s´allume courtement, la centrale émet une brève
tonalité en guise de confirmation de réception.
• Allez dans la centrale qui affiche ce qui suit:
• Entrez le nom du détecteur de fumée par le clavier, par ex. «
Détect fumée Cuisine » pour le détecteur de fumée de la cuisine.
• Les touches sont occupées en même temps par plusieurs lettres.
Les lettres sont avancées en appuyant à plusieurs reprises sur les
touches.
• Le curseur passe à la lettre suivante, deux secondes après la der-
nière activation des touches.
