• Il faut toujours couper les mêmes ponts de codage dans tous les
détecteurs de fumée à transmission sans fils de l'ensemble du
système.
• Après avoir effectué ce travail, remettez les piles en place et faites
un essai sur tout le système.
La radio-transmission n'atteint pas tous les détecteurs de
fumée du système :
Dans le cas où la distance entre deux détecteurs de fumée voisins
serait trop grande ou que la portée serait entravée par ex. par du
béton armé, il faut choisir un autre emplacement ou ajouter un
détecteur de fumée à transmission sans fil supplémentaire dans le
système d'alarme.

Due to the radio transmission of the alarm, no wiring is required and
the single Smoke Detectors can be installed in a distance of up to
100 m from each other (depending on the structural fabric).
Thus, it is even possible to secure big buildings and areas. The system
allows the installation of as many Smoke Detectors as you like.
If one of the devices detects smoke, this is indicated optically/acou-
stically. Additionally, it transmits an alarm signal via radio transmis-
sion to the neighboring Smoke Detectors of the system. These
detectors also transmit the alarm signal to all detectors within their
range. To be able to identify the releasing Smoke Detector in case of
a false alarm, the red LED of the releasing detector is still flashing for
half an hour after the alarm has been stopped.
In case of a decreasing battery voltage, this is indicated by an acou-
stic signal every 10 s. To avoid an overlapping with other radio
transmission services in the 433-MHz band, the system can be
encoded with a house code and thus is secured against false alarm
due to other radio transmitters in this frequency range.
A further specific feature is the adjustable responsiveness. Thus,
unlike customary smoke detectors the Radio Smoke Detector can
be used even in rooms where smoking is admitted, in kitchens, in
rooms with steam exhaust, etc. The alarm only is released in case of
stronger smoke, such as e.g. in the initial phase of a fire.
