Elimination des piles/accus usagés
Le consommateur est tenu de par la loi (loi sur la récupération et
l'élimination de piles usagées) de recycler toute pile/accu usagé. Il
est interdit de les jeter dans la poubelle ordinaire !
Les piles/accus contenant des substances pollu-
antes sont marqués par les symboles indiqués
ci-contre qui signalent l'interdiction de l'élimi-
nation avec les ordures ordinaires. Par exemple :
les désignations des métaux lourds obligeant au
recyclage sont : Cd =cadmium, Hg =mercure,
Pb =plomb (Désignation se trouve sur l'accu, par
ex. au-dessous du symbole de poubelle repré-
senté ici à gauche).

dans nos succursales ou partout où l'on vend
des piles/accus !
Vous satisferez ainsi aux obligations prescrites par la loi et contri-
buerez à la protection de l'environnement.
7. Portée/Réception perturbée
La portée sur champ libre, cad la portée quand il y a contact visuel
entre l'émetteur et le récepteur, est de 100 m dans des conditions
optimales. Les murs et même les constructions en béton armé peu-
vent être traversés, la portée en est cependant diminuée.

2. Installation Places and Notes
Generally, it is recommended to install several smoke detectors in a
building or in a flat. Anyway, for multi-floor buildings it is recommen-
ded to install one smoke detector per floor.
Only thus, a timely and efficient warning in case of a fire can be gua-
ranteed.
Anyway, one of the smoke detectors or the single detector has to be
installed in such a way that it secures the way to the bedroom (hall or
stairway) and that it can be heard with the bedroom door being closed.
The device has to be installed in the middle of the ceiling. An excep-
tion are pointed attic rooms. In this case, do not install the detector
in top of the pointed roof. In case of roof installation, install the
device in a distance of approx. 1 m from the top point of the roof or
better install it at roof beams.
The reason for these installation places is that there is an air accu-
mulation near walls and especially at ceilings with acute angles. This
air accumulation keeps the ascending smoke away from the walls or
the corners. Therefore, do not install a smoke detector within an
area of approx. 20 cm from the room corners. This detector would
not react and would only release an alarm e.g. when a part of the
ceiling is falling down due to the fire.
The detectors also can be attached to the walls provided that the
required distances to the room corners is ensured. But please
observe that e.g. a window board might deviate the smoke and thus
creates an area with still air. Due to this, the smoke might not reach
the detector on the wall (see figure).
