Le deuxième lecteur de CD ou, selon le cas, la table de mixage doit mettre à disposition un contact
momentané (fonction de touche) qui pour l'instruction de démarrage relie la pointe du connecteur jack
sur le branchement RELAY (25) à la masse audio. Pour activer la fonction de pause, la tige du
connecteur jack doit être relié temporairement à la masse audio.
l) Fonction SLEEP
•
Afin de ménager le laser et le lecteur, l'appareil se met en mode SLEEP lorsque la fonction de pause a été active
pendant env. 15 minutes.
•
L'afficheur à cristaux liquides (1) affiche SLEEP.z Z.
•
Pour retourner au mode normal il suffit d'appuyer sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (7) ou sur la touche CUE (6).
m) Mise en arrêt
•
Interrompez la lecture du CD en appuyant sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (7).
•
Ouvrez le tiroir CD en appuyant sur la touche OPEN/CLOSE (10) et retirez le CD.
•
Fermez le tiroir de CD en appuyant de nouveau sur la touche OPEN/CLOSE (10).
•
Eteignez l'amplificateur et la table de mixage éventuellement raccordée.
•
Ne mettez en arrêt le lecteur de CD qu'ensuite par l'interrupteur secteur POWER (26).
11. Mémoire antichoc
L´appareil est équipé d´une mémoire antichoc numérique. Celle-ci réduit le risque d´interruptions pendant la lecture
lorsque l´appareil est exposé à des secousses.
La mémoire anti-chocs est automatiquement chargée lors la lecture des données audio. L'appareil a besoin de
quelques secondes jusqu'à ce que sa mémoire soit pleine et qu'il puisse fonctionner de façon optimale.
L'état de charge actuel de la mémoire antichoc peut être lu dans l'écran à cristaux liquides (1) à l'aide de l'affichage
antichoc et de la mémoire tampon (12).
Le volume des informations mémorisé correspond à environ 10 secondes de lecture de musique. La mémoire
antichoc peut dans ce cas « ponter » des sauts de lecture qui se produiraient le cas échéant suite à de petits coups.

(1) LC display
The LC (liquid crystal) display shows the most important settings and the CD play data.
(2) Rotary control SEARCH
This rotary control lets you search within a track. It has 4 different speeds. The further you turn the controller in one
direction, the faster the search run.
Clockwise rotation > search run forwards
Counter-clockwise rotation > search run backwards
(3) Track buttons
With the track jump keys, you can select any track on the CD. Press and hold the button to speed up the track skip.
When pressing the left button, the laser jumps to the start of the current track or one track backwards. When pressing
the right button, it jumps to the start of the following track.
(4) IN/OUT buttons
The device lets you save a „seamless" playback loop. For this purpose, the device features the button IN, the button
OUT and the button RELOOP (5).
With IN, you set the start point and with OUT the end point of the playback loop.
You can also save a CUE point with the IN button without interrupting playback.

in one of the following chapters in this manual.
(5) RELOOP button
With this button, you call up a saved playback loop once again. If no loop is saved, the laser returns to the last CUE
point during playback and continues playback from there.

(6) CUE button
If the CUE button is pressed briefly during playback, the CD player returns to the start of the track or to the previously
set CUE mark and goes into PAUSE mode.
If the CUE button is pressed then, playback starts from the CUE mark. After letting go of the CUE button, the CD player
returns to the CUE mark and goes into break mode.
(7) PLAY/PAUSE button
Use this button to start or temporarily stop (pause) the CD playback. During playback, the button is permanently lit,
during break mode, it blinks.
