Operation

a) Buttons on the monitor
• On/Off Switch
Press the "POWER" button, to switch the monitor on or off.
• Select AV input
Press the "AV" button briefly, to choose from the 3 inputs. The current active input is shown
briefly in the upper right of the display ("AV1", "AV2" or "VGA").
• Volume control
If the monitor is not in the OSD menu, the desired volume can be adjusted using the "VOL-" or
"VOL+" buttons.
The volume can also be changed in the OSD menu, using the "VOLUME" function.
• Mute button
Briefly press the "MUTE" button, to mute or unmute the audio playback.
• Calling up OSD menu, selecting functions and changing settings
Briefly press the "MENU" button, the OSD menu appears.
By pressing the "MENU" button several times, each of the functions can be called up.
Change the set value for the selected function using the "VOL-" or "VOL+" button.
With the "MENU" button, you move to the next setting.
Wait a few seconds, without pressing any buttons, and the setting is saved and the OSD menu
closes.
The following functions are available in the OSD menu:
The possible settings depend on which input method (AV1/AV2 or VGF) is currently be-
ing used.
"BRIGHT" = adjusts the brightness
"CONTRAST" = adjusts the contrast
"COLOR" = adjusts the colour strength
"VOLUME" = adjusts the volume
"TCON" = mirrors the image horizontally and/or vertically
(depending on the installation location of the monitor or the surveillance camera)
"LANGUAGE" = select the language for the OSD menu
"RESET" = resets all settings to the factory settings
"HPOSITION" setting = change the horizontal alignment of the picture
"VPOSITION" setting = change the vertical alignment of the picture
"AUTO CONFIG" setting = automatically align the picture

(depending on the installation location of the monitor or the surveillance camera).
Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any reason.
Only use a clean, soft cloth for cleaning. To remove dust, a soft, clean brush can be used.
Do not press on the display too strongly, since this may cause scratch marks. Further-
more, the display glass might break!
Never use aggressive, chemical cleaning agents.
Disposal
a) General instructions
Electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/recharge-
able batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to indi-
cate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden.
The symbols for dangerous heavy metal constituents are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury,
Pb=Lead (name written on the battery/rechargeable battery e.g. under the rubbish bin
symbol on the left).
You can return used (rechargeable) batteries free of charge at the official collection points in your
municipality, our stores, or where ever (rechargeable) batteries are sold!
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
