To select certain transmitters, press the respective number key, e.g. "8", on the remo-
te control unit.
To select two-digit channel numbers (e.g. "16"), first switch into the "Two-Digit Mode"
via the "-/--" key. Then, press the number keys successively (e.g. first "1" and then "6").
To select a transmitter having a one-digit channel number in this mode you may either
change over into the "One-Digit Mode" via the "-/--" key or input the one-digit channel
number with a leading 0 (zero), e.g. input "08" rather than "8".
c) How to set the volume, muting
Select the desired volume via the "VOL
set (5) or on the remote control unit (38). The sound reproduction can be muted via the
"MUTE" key of the remote control unit (50), e. g. if you wish to have a brief phone call.

9. Added-feature functions

a) How to tune brightness, colour intensity, contrast, colour deviation (hue), and
volume
Press the "MENU" key of the remote control unit (34).
The brightness symbol will appear:
Select the desired brightness via the "VOL
Press the "MENU" key once more for a second.
The colour intensity symbol will appear:
Select the desired colour intensity via the "VOL

Ces deux touches permettent de faire défiler un film en arrière ou en avant de façon
accélérée. La première pression sur la touche passe au mode 2x (deux fois plus vite),
la deuxième pression au mode 4x, la troisième au mode 8x.
Si vous souhaitez voir le film en vitesse normale, appuyez de nouveau sur la touche
"PLAY".
g) Touches de saut pour la sélection de chapitre DVD, touche " " et " " de la
télécommande (35)
Elles permettent de passer en arrière/en avant de chapitre à chapitre du disque DVD.
h) Sélection directe d'un chapitre DVD, touche "CHAPTER" de la télécommande

Au lieu de faire défiler individuellement les différents chapitres au moyen de la touche de
saut, vous pouvez choisir directement un chapitre au moyen de la touche "CHAPTER".
Lors de la lecture du disque DVD, appuyez sur la touche "CHAPTER". Le numéro du
chapitre actuel est indiqué.
Entrez le numéro du chapitre souhaité par les touches numériques (0 à 9) et appuyez
sur la touche "ENTER". L'affichage du numéro disparaît, le chapitre choisi est lu. Si
vous avez sélectionné un numéro de chapitre que le disque DVD ne contient pas,
deux traits s'affichent à l'écran.
i) Sélection d'un chapitre via les touches numériques 0-9, touche "+10" de la
télécommande (17, 41)
Vous pouvez choisir directement un chapitre à l'aide des touches numériques.
La touche "+10" permet d'introduire un numéro de chapitré supérieur à "9". Appuyez
sur la touche "+10", "1-" apparaît à l'écran. Vous pouvez maintenant introduire le deu-
xième chiffre du numéro par les touches numériques 0-9.
Pour introduire un numéro de chapitre encore plus élevé, appuyez plusieurs fois sur la
touche "+10" ("2-", "3-", "4-", etc. s'affiche à l'écran).
j) Mode de lecture lente/rapide, touches "
