Safety Instructions and Hazard Notes
The guarantee claim becomes invalid for damages resulting from
non-compliance with these operating instructions! We do not
assume liability for consequential damages! We do not assume lia-
bility for property damages or personal injury caused by improper
handling or non-observance of the safety instructions. In these cas-
es all guarantee claims become invalid!
For reasons of safety and approval (CE) unauthorised modifications or changes must
not be performed to the DVD player.
a) Safety instructions concerning installation and handling
When setting up the device, please observe the following rules:
When you select the place where to install your DVD player, make sure to avoid expo-
sure to direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, extremely hot and cold temperatures and
humidity. Furthermore, no powerful transformers or motors must be in the vicinity of
the location.
Do not turn the device on shortly after it was brought from a cold into a warm room.
Condensing water that forms might destroy the DVD player. Leave the unit switched
off and wait until it has reached room temperature.
The DVD player can also be impaired by interference (radiation) from tuners, TV sets,
and similar devices. Therefore, make sure to guard a maximum distance to such
devices.
Do not cover vents on the device side and bottom side as this may cause heat accu-
mulation and thus could damage your device.
Operate your DVD player only in horizontal position as otherwise a correct functioning
is not given.
Non-observance of the above rule may result in damages of the inserted DVD and the
DVD drive.
Place the device on a stable surface where the DVD player cannot fall down and thus
cause injury to people.
When installing the device make sure that the mains cord is not pinched or could be
damaged by sharp edges.
Given the multitude of varnishes and polishes used with furniture it cannot be ruled
out that the device stands leave visible traces on furniture due to a chemical reaction.
Therefore, do not place the DVD player on top of valuable furniture without appropri-
ate protection.

Mit der FB- und der FF-Taste können Sie während der Wiedergabe einen schnellen
Rücklauf bzw. Vorlauf starten. Durch mehrmaliges Drücken können Sie dabei die
Geschwindigkeit steigern. Eine entsprechende Einblendung erfolgt im Bildschirm.
Wird die PLAY-Taste gedrückt oder das Ende/Anfang eines Musiktitels erreicht, so
wird der Titel wieder in der Normalgeschwindigkeit abgespielt.
VOCAL (26)
Bei der Audio-CD-Wiedergabe kann mittels der VOCAL-Taste am Ausgang zwischen
Stereo, Mono Rechts und Mono Links gewechselt werden.
MP3 Betrieb
Tasten, die in den anderen Kapiteln schon beschrieben wurden und die die
selben oder stark ähnliche Funktionen erfüllen, werden in diesem Abschnitt
nicht mehr beschrieben. Die vorher beschriebenen Bildschirmanzeigen kön-
nen deshalb leicht variieren.
Die Steuerung einer MP3 CD erfolgt über das SMART NAVIGATIONSSYSTEM. Dieses
Navigationssystem ist in folgende Bereiche eingeteilt:
• Ordner (Verzeichnisauswahl)
• Datei (Titel)
• Wiedergabeart (Play Mode)
Menüsteuerung
Nachdem eine MP3-CD eingelesen wurde (Stop-Modus), erscheint dieses Menü
(Navigationssystem) auf dem Bildschirm.
Mit den Navigationstasten RECHTS/LINKS kann zwischen den drei Bereichen
gewechselt werden. Mit den Navigationstasten AUF/AB und den Tasten NEXT/PREV
kann eine Auswahl in dem jeweiligen Bereich getroffen werden.
Eine Bestätigung dieser Auswahl erfolgt mittels der PLAY-Taste. Während der Wie-
dergabe können mit den Navigationstasten keine Einstellungen durchgeführt werden.
Play-Mode-Arten
• SINGLE: Der in der Datei gewählte Titel wird einmal wiedergegeben.
• REP-ONE: Der in der Datei gewählte Titel wird ständig wiedergegeben, bis die Wie-
dergabe unterbrochen wird.
