Einzelteilbeschreibung des Gerätes
Beachten Sie hierzu die Abbildung auf der Ausklappseite dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
Eine genaue Funktionsbeschreibung der einzelnen Tasten bzw. Anschlüße, ist in den
nachfolgenden Kapiteln nachzulesen.
1. EJECT
Mit dieser Taste wird die Schublade
geöffnet, bzw. geschlossen.
2. A-B
Mit dieser Taste können Sie eine Wie-
dergabeschleife aktivieren.
3. Zehnertastenfeld
Zehnertastenfeld zur direkten Einga-
be numerischer Befehle.
4. CLEAR
Taste zum Löschen von Titeln bei der
Programmierung.
5. Navigationstasten
Navigationstasten im Menü
6. PROGRAM
Mit dieser Taste wird die Program-
mierfunktion aufgerufen.
7. TITLE
Taste zum Aufruf einzelner Infobilder.
8. ROOT/DIGEST
Durch Drücken dieser Taste wird das
Menü der eingelegten DVD aufgeru-
fen.
9. GOTO
Taste zur Anwahl einzelner Titel bzw.
eines bestimmten Zeitpunktes.

Taste für den schnellen Rücklauf

Taste für den schnellen Vorlauf
12. PREV
Rückwärtssprungtaste
13. NEXT
Vorwärtssprungtaste
14. VOLUME
Tasten zur Lautstärkeregelung an
den analogen Audioausgängen.
15. MUTE
Taste zum Ein- und Ausschalten des
Tones.
16. STANDBY
Taste zum Ein- und Ausschalten des
DVD-Players (Standby).
17. REPEAT
Taste zum Aktivieren der Wiederhol-
funktion.
18. P/N
Taste zum Wechseln der Farbfern-
sehnorm.
19. CAPTION
Taste zur Anwahl der verschiedenen
Untertitel auf einer DVD.
20. ANGLE
Diese Taste dient zur Anwahl der ver-
schiedenen Kameraansichten einer
Filmszene (DVD).
PLAY (23)
Press PLAY to start disc playback or to confirm your entries in the menu (see e.g. gen-
eral settings).
RESUME (24)
Press RESUME to continue movie playback where it was stopped via the button
ROOT/DIGEST.
AUDIO / VOCAL (26)
Use the two buttons AUDIO and VOCAL to set the desired language and audio track
during playback. The prerequisite is that they are programmed on the DVD. After you
have inserted a new disc in the drive, the device menu setting is restored.
SLOW (28)
Press the SLOW button to activate the slow-motion function. Press repeatedly to
select between the different forward and reverse speeds. Press the PLAY button to
resume normal replay speed. Some discs do not support slow-motion.
STEP (29)
Press STEP to turn on the freeze-frame function. Press the STEP button to display the
next single frame. Press PLAY to restore normal playback operation.
STOP (30)
The DVD player goes into stop mode if you press the STOP button twice during play-
back. If you press STOP once you can resume playback where you stopped.
PAUSE (31)
Press during playback to set the DVD player to pause mode. Press again to restore
playback operation.
RETURN (32)
No function
ZOOM (33)
Press the ZOOM button to magnify the currently displayed picture. Three magnifica-
tion factors are available (1.5x / 2x / 4x). To turn the magnification factor of, press the
button repeatedly until "ZOOM OFF" appears on the upper left screen.
PBC (25)
Press the PBC button to display a table of contents of the inserted DVD (PBC OFF).
Press again to reactivate PBC. The PBC function is primarily used by video CDs.
Usually, you navigate a DVD via the DVD main menu. Via the PBC button (PBC OFF)
this menu can be turned off. The DVD is now controlled via the displayed contents
tables. The DVD main menu cannot be activated during playback. Control via the con-
tents tables becomes necessary if no "normal" main menu (PBC) is available. In case
of a video CD also special functions are activated.
