Abspielbare Discs
Mit dem Jeutech DVD-Player JH-503 können folgende Discs abgespielt werden:
• DVD
• Audio-CD
• Video-CD
• SVCD (Super-Video-CD) im asiatischen Raum bevorzugte Spezialversion der Video-
CD
• MP3-CD
In den CD-Schub können sowohl die Discs mit 12cm Durchmesser, als auch die Discs
mit 8cm Durchmesser eingelegt werden. Für die 8cm Version wird kein zusätzlicher
Adapter benötigt.
DVD-Grundwissen
Die DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) kann bis zu 7-mal mehr Daten speichern als die nor-
male CD.
Der Datenträger kann dabei auf beiden Seiten beschrieben sein. Wegen dieser hohen
Kapazität lassen sich auf einer DVD, Spielfilme in top Kino-Qualität, in 3D-Sound, in
mehreren Sprachen und mit mehreren Untertiteln unterbringen.
Bei der DVD-Video kann zudem zwischen den Bildformaten 4:3 (Standard-Format)
und 16:9 gewählt werden.
Eine DVD ist unterteilt in Titel und Kapitel. Auf einer DVD befindet sich ein oder meh-
rere Titel. Ein Titel (z.B. Film, Filmtrailer usw.) kann in mehrere Kapitel unterteilt sein.
Die Ziffer im Symbol gibt die Anzahl der vorhandenen Untertitel auf der DVD
an. Eine DVD kann bis zu 32 Untertitel enthalten.
Die Ziffer im Symbol gibt die Anzahl der Sprachversionen auf der DVD an.
Eine Ziffer im Symbol kennzeichnet die Anzahl der verschiedenen Kame-
raansichten einer Filmszene.
Das Logo Dolby mit den jeweiligen Zusätzen (Digital, Dolby Surround usw.)
kennzeichnet die jeweilige Audioaufzeichnungsart auf der DVD. Es können
dabei auch mehrere Aufzeichnungsversionen auf der DVD vorhanden sein.
Das Logo DTS mit den jeweiligen Zusätzen (5.1 Surround usw.), kennzeich-
net die jeweilige DTS-Audioaufzeichnungsart auf der DVD.
Jede DVD besitzt einen Regionalcode. Der Regionalcode für Europa ist 2.
Wird in einem DVD-Player eine DVD eingelegt, deren Regionalcode nicht mit
der des DVD-Players übereinstimmt, so wird im Bildschirm "WRONG

EJECT (1)
Opens and closes the disc tray.
A-B (2)
Use the A-B button during playback of a DVD, VCD or CD to select a certain segment
you want to repeat. Press the A-B button at the beginning of the section you intend to
repeat and "A TO B SET A" appears on the upper left screen. Press the A-B button a
second time at the end off the section you want to repeat and "A to B SET B" appears
on the screen. Subsequently the selected section will be played repeatedly. Press the
A-B button again to deactivate the repeat function. "A TO B CANCELLED" then
appears on the screen.
Scroll buttons (5)
Use these buttons to move through the menu of the DVD player and through the menu
of the inserted disc (UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT).
TITLE (7)
Press the TITLE button to successively display information screens (see PBC).
ROOT/DIGEST (8)
Press this button during playback if you want to switch to the DVD main menu.
Use the scroll buttons and the PLAY button to set the desired option. Press the
RESUME button to continue movie playback where it was stopped.
GOTO (9)
Press the GOTO button to go directly to a certain chapter, title or time. After you have
pressed the button once you can enter the desired chapter via the number buttons.
Then press the PLAY button to start playback at the desired time.
FB and FF buttons (10/11)
Press the FB or FF button for fast forward and reverse scanning during playback.
Press repeatedly to increase the scanning speed. A corresponding display will appear
on the screen. Press the PLAY button to resume normal speed.
PREV- and NEXT buttons (12/13)
Press these buttons during playback to go back to the beginning of the current chap-
ter or to skip to the next chapter. Press repeatedly to advance several chapters suc-
cessively. The skipped chapters are displayed on the screen (PBC OFF). Subsequent-
ly, playback is resumed automatically.
VOLUME (14)
Use the two volume buttons to control the volume of the analogue outputs. The dis-
play for adjusting the volume level appears on the screen.
