PLAY: Nachdem eine Inhaltstafel aktiviert wurde, kann diese mit der PLAY-Taste
abgespielt werden

ROOT/DIGEST: Wird während des Stop-Modus die ROOT/DIGEST-Taste ge-
drückt, werden von bis zu 9 Kapiteln, die Anfangsszenen eingeblendet. Die
Anwahl dieser Szenen kann dann über die Zifferntasten 1 – 9 erfolgen.

STOP: Rückkehr zu den Inhaltstafeln
Audio-CD Betrieb
Tasten, die in den anderen Kapiteln schon beschrieben wurden und die die
selben oder stark ähnliche Funktionen erfüllen, werden in diesem Abschnitt
nicht mehr beschrieben. Die vorher beschriebenen Bildschirmanzeigen kön-
nen deshalb leicht variieren.
CLEAR (4)
Bei der Programmierung von Musiktiteln bei einer Audio-CD, kann mit der CLEAR-
Taste die letzte Eingabe wieder gelöscht werden.
PROGRAM (6)
Drücken Sie die PROGRAM-Taste im Stopmodus um die Titelprogrammierung zu
starten. Über das Zehnertastenfeld kann nun das gewünschte Programm eingegeben
werden. Zum Starten des Programms muß die START-Taste gedrückt werden. Zum
Löschen der Programmierung drücken Sie die STOP- und danach die PROGRAM-
Taste.
Zehnertastenfeld (3)
Über das Zehnertastenfeld kann ein Titel direkt angewählt werden (CD, MP3). Zur
Anwahl eines zwei- oder dreistelligen Titels, z.B. 42, müssen Sie die Taste 10+ mehr-
mals drücken, bis am Bildschirm "SELECT: 4- " erscheint. Danach müssen Sie schnell
die Taste 2 drücken. Am Bildschirm erscheint kurz "SELECT: 42". Der Titel 42 wird
nun abgespielt.

b) General safety specifications
The DVD Player DVD JH-503 is designed in safety class 1. To preserve this condition
and to ensure safe operation, the user must observe the safety instructions and warn-
ings given in this manual!
To supply your device with electric power use only an earthed mains outlet featuring
230 V/50 Hz (10/16 A) of the public mains network. Never try to operate the unit from
a different voltage source.
Make sure that all electric connections, power cords between the devices and exten-
sion cords are in accordance with the regulations and with these operating instruc-
tions.
Only use a power extension cord with earthing contact.
Handle the power cord by the plug. Do not pull out the plug by tugging the cord and
never touch the power cord when your hands are wet.
When the power cord shows damages, disconnect it from the mains. The damaged
power cord can be replaced by a new one with identical power rating. The faulty pow-
er cord must not be repaired.
The device may only be operated in enclosed rooms.
Electric appliances must be kept out of reach of children. Exercise extreme caution
when children are around as they may try to stick objects through openings into the
device. Thus they are at risk to suffer a lethal electric shock.
Do not leave packing material lie around unattended; plastic foils, bags or polystyrene
parts could become a dangerous toy for children.
Do not leave the device running unattended.
Do not listen to excessively loud music for a prolonged period of time. Your hearing
can take damage.
Do not spill liquids on the device. This may cause fire or a lethal electric shock. In such
a case you must immediately pull the power cord and contact qualified service.
In industrial facilities, the safety regulations laid down by the professional trade asso-
ciation for electrical equipment and facilities must be observed.
This product is equipped with a class-1 laser. Never open the device; it contains no
serviceable parts. Alignment or maintenance work must only be performed by quali-
fied personnel that is familiar with the hazards involved. Improper alignment works
may result in dangerous laser radiation. The inside of the device contains a label which
must be observed by the service person performing the repair.
